Michelle is the Founder and Managing Partner of Clearhaven Partners. Clearhaven Partners is a dedicated software and technology private equity firm, based in Boston. Clearhaven invests thematically and targets partnership-oriented investments in companies with at least $20 million in revenue. The Firm makes equity investments in control majority or influential minority positions in partnership with management. Michelle has been in private equity investing and investment finance for 20 years.Michelle founded Clearhaven in 2019 and leads the firm's investment strategy and approach. In addition, Michelle directly leads all aspects of the deal process for her deals including sourcing, due diligence, negotiation and execution, as well as portfolio value creation in close partnership with a company's management team and Clearhaven's Portfolio Value Creation team.Previously, Michelle was a General Partner and member of the Investment Committee at Riverside Partners. Michelle led Technology sector investments for Riverside. Within technology, Michelle led investments in enterprise and application software, transaction/payment processing, software-based services and media technology. Prior to Riverside, Michelle was an investment professional in the San Francisco office of private equity firm Thoma Bravo where she focused on software investments. Michelle began her career at Morgan Stanley in energy and utilities investment banking in New York.Michelle holds a Bachelor in Business Administration in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Business Administration, with distinction, from the Harvard Business School. She also studied at L’Universite Catholique de l’Ouest in France.Michelle is an Advisory Board Member of 51 Vets. She was previously the President of Chicago-based non-profit The International Business Council, which focuses on providing business support to entrepreneurs in developing countries.
