I am a proud Métis-Cree professional with a deep passion for leadership and community empowerment. Over the years, I've had the privilege of leading organizations at provincial, regional, and national levels, where I've focused on driving positive change and creating inclusive environments. As a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), I've honed my skills in fundraising, public relations, advocacy, strategic planning, and board governance.I'm currently pursuing an executive MBA in the Indigenous Business Leadership Program at the Beedie School of Business. This commitment to continuous learning reflects my unwavering dedication to empowering Indigenous communities and making a meaningful impact.In my consulting practice, I have had the opportunity to work with organizations in cultivating inclusive workplaces that foster innovation, collaboration, and growth. Throughout my career, I've taken on various fulfilling roles, including serving as the former CEO of the Compassion House Foundation and co-founding the REET Institute, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing equity and diversity in commercial real estate. Beyond my professional endeavours, I am deeply involved in my community, serving as the Chair of the Truth & Reconciliation Committee for the YWCA Edmonton and holding a Chair position at PolicyWise for Children & Families. Additionally, my role on the University of Alberta Senate allows me to advocate for positive change and community engagement.I am grateful to have received recognition for my work through awards such as Edify Magazine’s Top 40 under 40, the Deputy Minister's Award for Innovation, and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal.
