In addition, I was responsible for reviewing policies/procedures; completing audits/inspections; approval of all offsite visits (approx. 1300 per year) via the EVOLVE system; and accident/incident/near miss investigations.Achievements - Completed a gap analysis of the College's compliance with health & safety legislation and presented a 3-year Development Plan with SMART objectives to the Board of Governors. The Development Plan was used to assist with the full implementation of the College's chosen Health & Safety management system (HSG65).Produced a new Health, Safety & Welfare Policy that sets out how the College intends to meet each stage of the HSG65 model.Developed (and had responsibility for delivering) a bespoke 3-hour health & safety induction training course for all staff.Developed a training plan for implementation of the College's chosen health & safety risk assessment and audit software (OSHENS), including delivery of training to over 180 staff in risk/COSHH assessment theory and practice.
