Co-Founder of Pearson Webb Consulting Ltd – a specialist Health & Safety and Fire Safety consultancy serving the Education and Charity sectors. I personally lead on the Health & Safety and Training side of the business, having worked in occupational health and safety for over 20 years. I have extensive experience in providing consultancy support to organisations in the Education and Charity sectors and in dealing with the unique risks that they face, advising clients on all aspects of Health & Safety compliance. I have established a proven track record of supportive auditing, developing and implementing health and safety management systems, policies/procedures, and delivering tailored training courses – working collaboratively with clients to create and sustain a safe, healthy and supportive environment. My focus is to build long-lasting relationships with clients, fostering a cycle of continuous improvement to take them beyond compliance and be the very best they can be.I am particularly passionate about training and education, and have vast experience of developing and delivering bespoke training courses in line with client needs to engage staff and drive a positive health and safety culture. In line with this contract I was responsible for providing all aspects of safety management and advice, including driving the completion of the College's 3-year Health & Safety Development Plan and delivering IOSH Managing Safely training to all managers. In addition, I was responsible for reviewing policies/procedures; completing audits/inspections; approval of all offsite visits (approx. 1300 per year) via the EVOLVE system; and accident/incident/near miss investigations.Achievements - Completed a gap analysis of the College's compliance with health & safety legislation and presented a 3-year Development Plan with SMART objectives to the Board of Governors.
