Managing the campus carbon neutrality and sustainability efforts. Developing strategic sustainability and energy objectives, best practices, policies, and technologies. Providing sustainable operations & maintenance consulting to a variety of commercial, institutional, research and laboratory, and municipal clients. Directing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Existing Building, New Construction/Major Renovation certification projects, as well as providing advisory services on energy efficiency, water efficiency, and sustainable operations. Areas of focus include energy management systems, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, building lighting systems, and water usage systems.Preparing and providing LEED and sustainable operations training in different settings to a variety of groups such as technical staff, departmental support staff, senior managers, leadership and regulatory officials. Analyzing operations, equipment performance, and utility information for buildings to understand energy usage and identify potential issues and provide energy efficiency recommendations in accordance with ASHRAE and LEED standards. To include analytical energy studies in academic and complex facilities environments.

Assisted campus efforts in the technical oversight and implementation of Campus Utilities Engineering and metering systems to ensure continuous metering, analysis of usage and performance and accurate billing to customers. Assisted the Campus Energy Manager in implementing the Campus Utilities Master Plan.
