I graduated from the NYU Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute and NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service with a BA in both broadcast journalism and religious studies and an MPA in nonprofit management and international policy.My work and education journey has largely been about pursuing the things I most curious about while forming precious human connections and memories along the way. After all, in the big scheme of things, how long really will we be updating these LinkedIn profiles? :)Returning to full-time production work, I co-founded BellyFire Productions after several years in global education and the nonprofit sector and moving extensively throughout the Middle East, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. Alongside my documentary cinematography work and client-focused production, I am the Creative Director for TED's video production team and operate as the lead producer in the control room at TED's flagship conferences.My year spans between NYC, the Southern Plains (home to a family farm), Colorado and several other regions depending on where work, family, and nature-seeking take me.
