Organising all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of an office. Ensure that the Company has the most suitable working environment for our employees and its activities Acting as the main point of contact for health and safety policies, procedures and practices. Acting as a First Aider and coordinating all First Aid Assistants, training and supplies as required. Providing ad-hoc administrative and logistical support to senior staff members, when required.Key Responsibilities: General Reception duties to include answering all calls into the main switchboard, greeting visitors and post. Arrange the maintenance of office equipment (for example, stationery and furniture), and ordering more, when required. Be the focal point for Health and Safety: maintain documentation, conduct risk assessments and display-screen equipment (DSE) assessments and provide a health and safety induction for new starters. Ensure the office environment meets health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation, including Fire Alarm Tests, drills and maintenance of fire procedures. Liaise with the Building Management Team on issues such as car parking, gas/electricity/water and Maintain the condition of the office by liaising with suppliers (eg cleaners) and arranging any necessary repairs including painting and decorating, carpets, air conditioning. Review our Preferred Supplier List on an annual basis, negotiating cost-effective rates with new and existing suppliers within your area of responsibility. Planning essential services such as security, maintenance, archiving, cleaning, catering, confidential shredding and recycling.

Stocks held at our site in Colne often top £1 Million and as such most items are available straight from stock.We also manufacture bespoke masonry products including walling, copings, steps and fascia’s all made on site at our factory in Colne which houses two frame saws specialist tumbling and CNC machines for stone processing as well as a wide range of other stone processing tooling and machinery. We also split stone blocks to make traditional yorkstone riven paving. Indeed supply us a sample and we can create bespoke York stone paving made to replicate it in a variety of finishes including ‘hand cleft’, shot blasted and ‘sawn’ finishes.Our sales team of four have collective experience of over 50 years in the specific field of supplying stone paving and building products.
