Perform incoming quality inspection on supplies. Daily inventory on stock room items. Managing inventory and budget goals for the stockroom. Communicating, in a timely manner, with production and maintenance facilitators. Schedule outbound LTL loads. Ship ground packages with UPS and Fedex. Receive LTL and ground packages daily. Transferring Inbound/outbound and other material using fork lift when needed. Ability to operate pattern rack crane and stock room motors. Traveling to pickup special request items or transferring items between plants. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Weekend work is usually required.

On the side, I spent a couple years, 20+ hours a week, doing Ebay for a local Fort Wayne Warehouse until his storefront opened up and was successful. I was with him til he no longer wanted anything to do with Ebay and I did not want to manage it. I directed my time on my Ebay and being closer to home.

Started as an Ink Inspector. Within first 30 days moved into Shipping and Receiving Manager position. In this position I found the cheapest shipping companies to work with on a daily basis. Also, I wrote and maintained the Policies and Procedures for this department. These policies and procedures are still used daily in this company. Time clock punches and Payroll were among several of my responsibilities. Opening and closing the business daily. Ordering all supplies for the entire company. Processing checks to customers on a daily business and following the First in First out Rule. Dealing with any customer service issues regarding payments and questions. Answering a multi-line phone system.

Management worked 50 plus hours a week. Plus I was on-call 24/7 and off every other weekend. Hourly I did driver updates on a community website for customers to check the status and whereabouts of their freight. Those community websites were NLMI and GPS. From 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. I would search for loads and bid on them, so that drivers could stay loaded as many hours as possible. I searched for load for as many as 1-26 trucks at a time. Various size trucks from Cargo Vans to 53' Semi's. Located throughout the United States but mostly in the Midwest. With this company I also would conduct orientation training on a weekly routine, usually every Tuesday. Creating and printing the Company Logo and information on Vinyl so that each hired independent drivers units could be lettered with the company information.
