- Assisting people with disability to gain and maintain employment in the open employment market.

- Internal auditing - Assessing/measuring consumer satisfaction re service delivery- Facilitating consumer forums- Addressing consumer feedback- Management of consumer surveys- Coordination and preparation of Disability Service Standards and ISO certification - Chair of Employment Services Continuous Improvement Team- Policy writing- Creation, review and update of service documentation (including flow charts and procedures)- Advising staff regarding Government procedures/guidelines and divisional processes/best practices- Facilitating secondary school forums- Assisting with support of DES participants (including commencement, assessment of individual needs and job choices and creating, reviewing and updating EPPs)

- Interviewing and commencing new participants referred to the service- Assessment of participant individual support needs- Development of Activity Agreements- Referral to appropriate external support services- Liaising with Job Capacity Assessors, Centrelink, medical and allied health professionals and Centrelink- Marketing service to other organisations- Maintenance of a participant flow spread sheet- Developing effective network relationships- Assisting with the support of DEN/DES participantsManagement of small case load of participants

- Maintaining case load of service users in maintenance phase (including office & worksite visits, problem identification & solving, assisting negotiations with client & employer, identifying training requirements) - Liaising with employers, co-workers, participant’s partners & families, guardians & advocates, Centrelink and other networks- Development, review and update of individual EAPs- Maintaining case management files to meticulous standard- Assisting participants with job seeking requirements (i.e.: job search, canvassing, letters of application, resume development, reviews & updates, interview coaching)- Delivering training to participants and staff- Concise monthly reports, maintenance of databases- Marketing service to employers/identifying employment opportunities- Reception relief’- Member of St Laurence EEOW committee

- Customer service/reception duties/general office duties- Interviewing applicants for TAP & registration/client follow ups/assistance with resumes etc. - Annual Census for FaCS- Invoicing, banking, petty cash, ordering stock- Maintenance of DENIS database & excel spread sheets/monthly reports- Taking minutes- Training staff/clients- St Laurence EEOW committee member- Overseeing maintenance of computer network
