With over 25 years’ experience in vocational education & training I have an extensive background in a variety of roles within the public and private education and business sectors. Currently employed by TAFE Queensland, Brisbane as a senior advisor in learning and development and responsible for delivering and implementing diverse training programs across 11 campuses, responding to business needs as required and working as part of a team to deliver an annual conference for 1000 educators. My most recent and proud achievement was winning the TAFE Queensland Employee of the Year 2021. Previous roles have included instructional designer, managing a laser clinic, vocational teacher, director of a registered training organisation, business owner/operator, content writer for TAFE QLD and managing online programs.I have successfully designed, created & delivered innovative approaches to learning materials and assessment to adapt to changing markets and clientele.Formalising my skills in eLearning and development, I completed the Vocational Graduate Certificate in Digital Education. Maintaining my love of digital applications I have achieved the Adobe Education Leader (AEL) ranking, only one of three in TAFE QLD and I am the Adobe state wide training co-ordinator. My love of education and integrating digital skills continues today.
