In my 7 years as an assessor I realized that there was a wide gap in the notion of truly what QA means for a RDH and the expectations and resources needed to attain a higher level of QA. I networked with other talented assessors also on their mission of 'peers helping peers'. Being a dental assistant was an enriching part of my career. As a dental assistant at Dr. Plotzke & Dr. Payne I was a chairside assistant, with responsibilities in infection control, product inventory and ordering, operating room assistant at St. Josephs Hospital, etc. The greatest part of this position was the individuals I worked with that shared their skills, patience and loving kind hearts with so many adorable children. I am forever greatful for this position.
