As Director I am responsible for overseeing the Admissions Department and 1 direct support for a 173 bed nursing facility. The goal is for my department to be the most timely, organized, efficient and barrier free of the competition all while providing exceptional customer service. My responsibilities include meeting census goals, maintaining the departmental budget and producing all necessary reports as well as community relations. My role in community relations is creating innovative marketing strategies, both internal and external, that promote the center as facility of choice. As a result, I am also responsible for fostering and maintaining said relationships. I work closely with facility partners and distribute outcomes and request feedback on what can be done to further improve associations.

Provided direct support to the Admissions Director. Assisted with managing the Admissions Department in her absence. As her assistant, I had been trained in all aspects of referral review including evaluating medical status to determine admission level of care. As a team, the Admissions Department spearheaded aggressive growth for the facility to increase overall census and diversify census mix. On average the facilty held the highest referral rates and the 2nd highest admission rates for the organization consisting of 11 centers.
