In the role of Chief Clinical Officer, responsibilities include the clinical programs at TCM properties including Transitional Care of Arlington Heights, a premier stand-alone, purpose-built rehabilitation center in the northwest suburbs, as well as transitional care centers currently under development in Mundelein, Lisle and Aurora, Illinois.

Responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of Clinical Systems, monitoring clinical outcomes, managing the Medicare PPS and Case-Mix reimbursement process, conducting Quality Validation Surveys in eleven skilled facilities Quality Improvement, analyze situations by looking at the outcomes and the standards set and then put systems into place to meet their standardsResponsible for all new products and services, ensure the most clinically and financially effective way to accommodate patient care Responsible for teaching, auditing, and overseeing the clinical outcomes for 13 Long-Term-Care Facilities in Illinois and 2 Long Term Care Facilities in Az as well as 2 CCRCs. I was responsible for directing and coordinating the responsibilities of all clinical staff to assure the Clinical Processes were in place to meet and surpass the Standards of Clinical Practice and the State /Federal/ JACHO Regulations.I developed and implemented comprehensive Educational Programs for all disciplines of a sub-acute/Skilled Facility. These programs included a General and Job Specific Orientation Process.Responsible for development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.

Provide Clinical Consulting Services to 10 nursing facilities in the Chicago area in the areas of clincial case and survey management

During this four year period, I was responsible for program development, training and education, clinical outcomes, reimbursement, and Quality Improvement. I also was responsible for a complete turnaround in one of our Chicago based facilities. This 248 bed facility went through JHACO. I increased clinical operations and grew profitability as a result. I established a Wound Care program and our Quality Improvement program.

I was responsible for LTC surveys, JHACO and a wide variety of management responsibilities for our 200 bed facility.
