Facilitated strategic communication including the development and maintenance of a communication strategy that worked to develop relationships with key stakeholders and ensure the promotion of the Association's brand and identity within the sector. Created and developed corporate communications, including newsletters, web news, press releases and the editorial management of the Association's website, member magazine and all social media platforms.Planning and coordinating and management of Association's Annual National Events Programme, including full financial management of budgets, generation of sponsorship and exposition income, coordination of technical conference programme and the use of innovative marketing to promote the events programme. Development and implementation of corporate policies, including communication, HR and membership policies.

This was a part-time role that I held whilst also finishing my final year at Massey University. I was able to integrate some parts of this role in my final internship papers, balancing the requirements of the position and finishing my final year assignments. This role included supporting the Event Manager with generating new sponsorship and exhibition income - a role which I excelled at and gained new financial support for the organisation. Using my communication and marketing skills I was able to build new win-win relationships, some of which are still supporting the association today
