The translator translates a Digital Geographic Information Working Group Exchange Standard (DIGEST) data file to an MGE DYNAMO object space.Supported the development effort for the 3D Terrain Modeling and Visualization project. This system enables the user to drape orthorectified imagery or replicate synthetic textures over a 3D model generated from elevation and feature data. It also allows the user to visualize the terrain model via dynamic fly-through. This software was developed in C and Visual Basic on the Windows NT platform.As technical lead for the Environmental Resource Management Application (ERMA) project, responsibilities included software maintenance, integration and test. This system consists of multiple software modules that were designed and coded in C utilizing commercial development platforms. The ERMA software provides data analysis, interpretation, modeling, and presentation functions that are useful in geological/environmental studies. It also provides data storage in relational databases and uses Relational Interface System (RIS) for all database access. -
