As a software engineer for the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) Objective Simulation Framework (OSF), responsible for developing Linux-based modeling and simulation (M&S) software in C++ and Java for generating/modifying test scenarios to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) testing and assessment of the BMDS. Responsibilities include the design, implementation, testing, and debugging of the software to meet system requirements for configuring and/or modifying BMDS Element assets (ground systems, radars, interceptors), threats, environmental effects, supplemental asset data, and other scenario parameters. Also played a key role in creating the Pathfinder Graphical User Interface utilizing Qt Development tools.

As facilitator for the Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (DHCA) junior robotics program, responsible for assisting two teams in designing, building, programming, and testing autonomous robots in preparation for competition. The teams are judged on completing pre-designed missions with the robots. The teams are also responsible for analyzing, researching, inventing, and presenting a solution to a panel of judges for a given assignment. Also taught a robotics class after school as part of the 2010-2011 Center for Excellence Program.

Graduated from the Disney College of Knowledge in June, 2010, and use this knowledge to make resort, cruise, airline, and dining reservations. Also generate personalized itineraries and monitor reservations for promotions and discounts. Completed Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Training in July, 2010, which allows me to book clients with non-Disney cruise lines. Completed Royal Caribbean Training and Certification in January, 2011.

As a software engineer for the Test Analysis and Evaluation group on the Lead System Integrator (LSI) contract, responsibilities included design and development of post data analysis tools for the Ground-Based Missile Defense (GMD) Program. These tools were developed in C/C++ and Visual Basic on the Windows NT platform. Using Visual Basic and Excel, was the lead developer for creating timeline software in support of the Integrated Ground Tests (IGT). Duties also consisted of writing detailed test plans and the development of S/W standards.

Involved in the development of the Vector Product Format (VPF) Data Server for the GeoMedia GIS system. This system provided users the ability to view, query and analyze various geographic data sources from across the Internet for a wide range of markets and industries. The server was developed in C++ on the Windows NT platform. It also requires a detailed knowledge of OLE Automation, COM, and Visual Basic’s Data Access Objects (DAO).As a lead engineer on the DIGEST-A Data to MGE Dynamo Translator (DDIGESTIN), responsibilities included porting DDIGESTIN from UNIX platform to the Windows NT platform, with C defining the supported baseline. The translator translates a Digital Geographic Information Working Group Exchange Standard (DIGEST) data file to an MGE DYNAMO object space.Supported the development effort for the 3D Terrain Modeling and Visualization project. This system enables the user to drape orthorectified imagery or replicate synthetic textures over a 3D model generated from elevation and feature data. It also allows the user to visualize the terrain model via dynamic fly-through. This software was developed in C and Visual Basic on the Windows NT platform.As technical lead for the Environmental Resource Management Application (ERMA) project, responsibilities included software maintenance, integration and test. This system consists of multiple software modules that were designed and coded in C utilizing commercial development platforms. The ERMA software provides data analysis, interpretation, modeling, and presentation functions that are useful in geological/environmental studies. It also provides data storage in relational databases and uses Relational Interface System (RIS) for all database access.

As a member of the Product Evaluations group and the Analog Portable Products group, extensive knowledge was gained in the area of characterizing telecommunications equipment. Duties included the testing of modem options and functionality using Hayes AT command set, performing and documenting test procedures, analyzing the test results, and preparing reports which summarized the results for review by management. Other work assignments included assisting in testing and debugging the software of a programming device used to program chips.
