My experience as a safety analyst and safety program manager has provided me with the opportunity to lead individuals and teams, provide guidance and development, conduct research and provide necessary tools for local teams to succeed at identifying risk and trends and developing mitigations to improve the safety of our National Airspace System. With the International Federation of Air Traffic Controllers Associations, I hold the single seat for the United States as one of twelve countries on the Professional and Legal Committee tasked with studying matters related to the human and environmental factors in the Air Traffic Control profession to make recommendations on legal matters, training recommendations, and policy change recommendations to protect the safety of air navigation and uphold the professional status of the Air Traffic Controllers across the globe.
