In a very fast moving environment I utilised my communication and creative skills whilst developing and directing a Strategic Communications and Events programme. This included entirely redesigning the staff intranet, introducing a Reward & Recognition programme with a significantly reduced budget in addition to enhancing corporate communication to a wide internal audience, of all levels via various media. This was all during an especially difficult period of change for the organisation.

I led and supported a team of sales representatives across all of the UK, which included coaching and training. I also re-organised the way in which sales requests were processed, which led to efficiency savings of over 20% assisted in the development of a franchise network.

Managing all trade accounts across the Midlands and South West of the country, I increased sales by over 25%, and regularly exceeded targets set, working to very tight time constraints.

After 6 months achieved promotion and given the responsibility to develop a new national brand, which involved business planning, marketing, brand & contract development, in addition to establishing new customers, turning over £50,000+ in the first 6 months. Prior to 1999 worked in the metal industry in Sales & Customer service roles.
