I am committed to improving the quality of life for all people, most especially those who are disadvantaged or marginalised. I believe that the health of our whole being as well as the health of our environment is the greatest asset that humans have. I believe that in order to improve health sustainably, knowledge attitudes and intentions need to be translated into action. I enjoy adventure and have learned to embrace the uncomfortable because I know that magic happens outside of our comfort zone. I am a skilled and experienced health scientist and team leader, with a solid background in university programme management, capacity building and data anaylitics.Experience in the public, private and NGO sectors, along with excellent qualifications, ensure a firm understanding of effective processes and systems including problem solving and implementing appropriate improvements, while excellent communication skills allow for successful collaboration with stakeholders from many professional, technical and cultural backgrounds.
