Recruited originally as an Account Manager for the following Customers/Exchanges: Hong Kong, New Zealand and India. One of the first jobs was to upgrade Hong Kong in six months, which was completed on schedule and budget. The previous upgrade with Hong Kong had taken two years.Appointed to the Australian (ASX) account as part of the upgrade project and to advance the account. This led to documenting, creating, and changing internal and external processes between SmartsGroup and ASX so that the end release was of superior quality and consistency.

Small venture capitalist funded IT company. Recruited originally to administer the $2.6 Million AusReady grant. Appointed to Operations Manager in 12/2006.Incorporated Agile Development Methods.

Recruited initially as a Business Analyst to conduct a gap analysis for a $40 million case management system used by the Attorney General’s Department. The analysis aimed to identify the department’s existing administrative and workflow needs in parallel with the system features initially provided by the original contractor. This led to the concept of a configuration model; an initiative designed to identify ways for a business to tailor products to meet clients’ evolving needs—allowing the business model and the application to be amended in tandem. As time passed, the role expanded to lead a team of four configuring the system, and later, assumed leadership of a team of 22 for an extended period.Appointment to Vision and Design Manager in 2003, prompted greater authority and involvement in the development and vision of the configuration model so that end-user’s requests could be accommodated. Oversaw design, investigate the impact of user requirements, and collaborate with developers to brainstorm contingencies, “what if” scenarios, and to translate business needs into a workable technological solution. Researched, introduced and adapted Agile project management methodology at two client sites. This also included introducing and coaching the clients in the new development methodologies.
