Breakthrough Media Foundation is a not for profit entity that seeks to provide people of color with fair and accurate representation in the arts. Our goal is to build up a strong presence of industry professionals in the Charleston, SC Tri-County area and build a strong philanthropic presence to encourage initiatives that lead our youth into the world of entertainment.

Breakthrough Pictures launched in Charleston, SC in May 2021 and partnered with LaTonya Flood and Robert L. Hopkins. This convergence of talent will position Breakthrough Pictures to be the go to production service agency in the low country. Breakthrough Pictures seeks to support local businesses with their production and advertisement needs as well as write and tell stories for the BIPOC population at the Hollywood Industry standard level.
