In this position I answered multiple phone lines, mailed letters, took messages on GroupWise, and worked on the AS400 system to give consumers information about a company. I also went onto the AMBEST website to pull up financial ratings for companies when the consumer needed it.

I supervised the front registers, hiring, opening and closing the store. Managed and organized the files in the event of an audit.

In this position I receive and go through all invoices received from our four branches and send them to our CEO to review for payment. Once the payments are approved, I send the invoices out with payments. I also have the opportunity to work with the members who have a dispute on their accounts, along with all card services issues as well. Resolving any incorrect charges for refunds. I also work very closely with the CEO on Special Projects from the Credit Union. In the last year the Credit Union has acquired another institution. In that process I worked on merging all the members with new Cards, and ACH payments. Along with being a support for the new members added on, I work and collect all information for auditors to review in the yearly audit. Every day is a new day with new challenges to conquer.

My background includes serving as an Account Rep for the past several years and a Registar prior to that for Stormont Vail Hospital. In this position, there are many different duties throughout the day. I call and verify info and see if they need any additional info. I receive denial letters and recoup letters from commercial insurance companies. Also check the status of medical claims on multiple websites.

In this position I help people to find the right coverage they need for Cancer, Heart and Accident insurance. I have the opportunity to walk alongside people through what could be one of the worst times of their lives when they have had a devastating diagnosis.
