Responsible for conducting a rapid evidence review of Artificial Intelligence Implications for Medical Interpreting with the Participatory Health Research Unit at the University of Limerick. Focusing on full-text screening and data extraction on relevant research articles from the last 5 years.

Participating in a collaborative literature review project at the University of Limerick entitled 'Advances in 3-dimensional in vitro models of the blood brain barrier for health and disease'. Responsible for contributing to the introduction and body of the paper highlighting the importance of understanding BBB function for drug development, as well as discussing recent advances in 3D In-Vitro Models, with a focus on emphasizing their advantages over 2D models.

Worked under the supervision of Dr. Sean Hill at the Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics (KCNI). Assisted in two sleep neuroscience projects involving the examination of the cognition of brain trauma patients, alongside assessing brain circuit excitability.

Participated in the year-long "Effects of early surgical menopause on relationships between sleep microstructure and hippocampal/extrahippocampal volume" PSY405 Independent Research Project (IRP) at The Einstein Lab.

Assisted in artefact and arousal scoring of EEG recordings for the Einstein Lab of Cognitive Neuroscience, Gender and Health's sleep project.

A year-long Independent Research Project (HMB496) in Human Biology supervised by Dr. Jaan Reitav, clinical psychologist, and Dr. Celeste Thirlwell, sleep medicine specialist. This is a systematic review project exploring the bidirectional relationship amongst dyadic relationships and sleep.

Worked under Dr. Jaan Reitav and Dr. Celeste Thirlwell to conduct background research for their book on Sleep Repair in Trauma. Conducted 6 literature reviews, screened 1000+ articles, reviews, and abstracts for their relevance to the assigned chapter, "Challenges to Establishing a Healthy, Sustained Sleep-Wake Rhythm," in addition to the development of a final report.
