In this role, I use active listening skills to improve the overall customer experience. I interact with individuals, families, and contractors in person and remotely to assist with requests, answer questions, address concerns, and complete sales transactions. I proudly contribute to generations of family tradition.

As an Assessment Coordinator for NAEP 2024 (National Assessment of Educational Progress), I supervised assessment team activities in 15 sampled schools across the region. I collaborated with school leaders, followed protocols to collect data, and adapted to new online platforms, leading to 100% assessment completion for my assignment. With the use of digitally based assessments at grades 4 and 8, I also led my team in the maintenance and troubleshooting of 25 student tablets and other network equipment as needed. At the end of the assessment period, I was part of a group of 40 individuals from across the U.S. selected to represent 1000+ field staff, serving on a Q&A panel to reflect on this NAEP cycle and support debriefing on the data collection process.

In this role, I applied my experience and familiarity with middle and high school educational standards to align Study.com content to state standards. I utilized statistical analysis software to review spreadsheets, including more than 100,000 rows of data, and prepared curriculum maps for teacher and students utilizing site content.

As a special education teacher, I planned, scaffolded, and delivered individualized instruction that aligned with students' interests and academic abilities in grades 6-12. I created assessments to measure progress toward grade-level standards, curricular goals, and IEP objectives; I wrote summaries of academic performance in narrative form and used software applications to create graphs of data; and I developed goals and objectives in collaboration with all stakeholders. I partnered with specialists and school district personnel throughout the state on an ongoing basis to meet the needs of students with disabilities. In addition, I contributed to many schoolwide initiatives, served as a member of the leadership team, and mentored fellow teachers.

In this role, I supported students with emotional and behavioral disorders. I designed and delivered instruction related to reading, writing, and mathematics. I also played an integral role in the implementation of the schoolwide proactive behavior management system, helping to define target skills to enhance students’ growth.

As a social worker in a nonprofit setting, I provided direct care to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and psychiatric illnesses. I acted as case manager to assigned caseload, led interdisciplinary team meetings, wrote progress reports, and supervised staff members. In addition, I fostered relationships with various service providers to connect clients as needed with community resources for independent living.
