Experienced youth development professional and program manager responsible for coordinating the planning and management of the Rural Scholars program for 7th - 12th grade students.Administer and manage college access program for local 7th-12th grade students with the potential to be first generation college students. Connecting 100+ middle and high school students with twenty undergraduate mentors. Plan and implement various workshops on career, academic, and life skills. Full responsibility for county based university 4-H youth outreach and education program that included training volunteer staff to deliver student activities, providing support to educational programming groups, and creating leadership opportunities for youth. Responsibilities included include volunteer management, youth and leadership development, resource development, community outreach, recruitment, marketing/PR, and administrative oversight. I managed 150 volunteers and 750 young people along with 50 clubs/groups.
