National Jesuit Student Leadership Conference is designed for students of Jesuit institutions to share ideas about how to improve their schools, learn from students across the country, develop leadership skills, explore the host city, and participate in a community service event while connecting to the Jesuit mission and values that make their educational experience unique. This year, 300+ students and advisors from 27 Jesuit institutions across the United States gather in Georgetown University to share ideas and advocate for higher education initiatives on Capitol Hill. My role in this conference includes:- Represented Seattle University as an international student- Advocate to congressman and senator's staffs in Capitol Hill regarding immigration reform and education policies- Presented a leadership session to groups of students from 350+ student delegations on the topic of culture and international students in the United States
