About Michelle Bartlam

I am a multitalented individual with two and a half years’ experience as a front of house receptionist and with all kinds of data entry. I have worked for Jones Accountants since October 2016 and whilst there I have gained experience with accounting, data entry, knowledge of QuickFile, knowledge of Quickbooks and a complete understanding of most day to day Microsoft products. Before this, I worked for Chantry Vets, I was an apprentice veterinary nurse but found I slipped rather well into the role of receptionist and admin team – dealing with stressful situations and difficult clients from time to time whilst keeping a cool head.I am the first point of contact for most of our clients and I strive to help them with whatever they require as promptly as I can. I have experience with general administration, document processing, post management, calendar management, marketing and acting as an in-house document checker. I like to think I am literate with good mathematical skills, these are backed up by my Functional Skills Qualification and my eight GCSE’s at A* to C, which includes Business Studies. I achieved my Business Administration Level 2 in October 2017 and I am keen to study once again, I like to strive to improve myself in ways to benefit the company I work for to be flexible within my environment and able to do what is asked of me. Outside of work, my hobbies include various creative pastimes – including knitting, sewing, drawing and video editing. I also own and show Fancy Rats within the West Yorkshire area.
