I started at Pearson in January 2016 as a Project Manager/Scrum Master and was promoted to Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master in March of 2017 in part due to my ability to successfully manage multiple projects at one time. In March of 2020 I was promoted to Program Manager, after successfully managing the largest program in our portfolio. I was promoted to Project Management Analyst in November of 2012, and subsequently to Project Manager in September of 2013, due to my demonstrated ability to bring projects in on-time and under budget. After my promotion, I was assigned several large, highly-visible, strategic IT projects including the Data Warehouse Implementation project, ClaimCenter 4 to 8 Upgrade project, and BillingCenter Implementation project. These latter two projects used Agile methodology. I was promoted to Business Systems Analyst from HR Coordinator in May of 2010. During my time as a BSA, two of our three Project Managers left the company. I volunteered to lead projects in the interim and was given several highly visible projects (including a small program of 4 projects). I was successfully able to lead these projects to completion ahead of schedule and within budget. My regular job duties were as follows:Analyzed all complex business systems’ needs and worked with various levels of end-users to create the logical requirements, technical designs and logical functionality specifications needed for software systems that provided solutions for moderate to complex business problems.Assisted in the implementation of the application/system changes and provided post implementation support.Developed training materials and provided training to end users for modified and new systems.

I started at Hastings Mutual as the HR Senior Administrator and was promoted to HR Coordinator in February of 2010. During my time in HR, I was assigned as the HR Technical Lead/Project Manager on the HR Actions/AWC project. Due to my efforts on this project, the company was able to avoid both service disruptions and extensive consulting expense, and therefore I was awarded a PRIDE award. My regular job duties were as follows:Responsible for non-exempt recruiting, including screening applications, administering typing tests, conducting first-round interviews, recommending candidates to supervisors/managers, and completing reference checks. Conducted new hire orientations for both exempt and non-exempt employees.Acted as a Corporate Trainer on various software rollouts including MS Office 2007, MS Visio, and SnagIt.
