In my role at UC Davis I focus on technology innovation in health services research. My research and professional interests include: technology implementation to reduce health care disparities, mental health services research, applications of AI to solve healthcare problems, technological solutions to improve healthcare quality and safety, and ethical considerations for the use of AI in healthcare. I have experience as an entrepreneur having co-founded a digital health start-up, AsyncHealth. In my role as COO, I led operations and strategy for the company. I have experience teaching graduate courses in healthcare informatics at CSU East Bay, where I shared my knowledge and insights on the use of data and technology in health care.I am dedicated to improving access and quality of mental health care services through the use of innovative health technology. I am passionate about discovering AI solutions that can amplify our greatest strengths to drive innovation and creative problem-solving.
