Michelle was an Auditor with UHY LLP, a licensed CPA firm, and has over five years’ experience in public accounting. During her five years of auditing, she has worked with a variety of global industries both public and non-public. Her professional experience consists of executing and providing expertise on audit and financial reporting engagements which include SEC reporting (including Sarbanes Oxley compliance), public debt/ equity offerings, royalty audits, mergers and acquisitions and consolidated financial accounting. Michelle has specialized in the oil field industry including upstream, midstream and downstream. As part of her responsibilities she has performed SOX walkthroughs (in Spanish at times), compilations, reviews and IFRS audits. Michelle has also lead new staff trainings involving Microsoft Excel and Introduction to Oil and Gas Accounting.
