I started Premier Captioning & Realtime Ltd (PCR) over a decade ago, more by accident than design; a stroke of good luck on my part.As a fully qualified and certified court reporter, who had been working as a freelance court stenographer and live tv subtitler in Ireland, the UK and further afield for many years, I saw that there was a gap in the market. I set up PCR to provide a first-class service to the legal and broadcast sectors, through our court reporting and subtitling/ captioning services. Nowadays, our stenographers work in the legal system in Ireland and for depositions and arbitrations throughout Europe. Our subtitle and captioning department provides many hours of live, and offline, captioning each week for a number of tv stations and production companies. And our CART (speech to text) services are in demand on a daily basis with clients in the business and education sectors, for both conference captioning and educational support to students.
