I developed and executed a branded annual fund outreach program. I oversaw a group of 30+ volunteers while working with the event co-chair to develop strategies and create/execution of plans. I procured and managed vendors, solicited for gifts, and collaborated with school-wide faculty and operations staff. I designed materials to raise awareness, bolster communication, clarify core messages, and cultivate donor relations. I also handled all regular strategic project management, reporting, measurement, copywriting (freelance design and copy management), and collaborated closely with the communications team. The program successfully strengthened stewardship activities, effectively reaching and exceeding our income and participation goals. ♦ Drove annual fund giving from $3.7M to $3.9M over the first year of tenure, then from $3.9M to $4.1M over the current fiscal year using a peer-to-peer fundraising model. ♦ Increased benefit gala net income from $1M to $1.2M over 2018. Went on to dramatically exceed net income goal by 160% over 2019 by producing the organization’s first virtual live streaming gala benefit event.

I managed and mentored a team of six responsible for the donor database (Raiser’s Edge software), donor relations/stewardship, foundation giving, individual giving, and events. I led the restructuring of the Development department in the interest of dismantling silos, creating new pipelines, and enabling innovation for all external outreach campaigns. I also spearheaded the real-time integration of Salesforce volunteer and Raiser’s Edge donor databases to provide a holistic view and analysis of constituents in order to cultivate improved management and communications.♦ Drove annual giving rates up 12% ($5M to $5.6M) by designing and implementing multi-channel integrated and segmented campaigns. ♦ Raised $250K at the 2018 Gala—a 15% increase from 2017—using an integrated solicitation approach for major donors and sponsors, securing five and six figure major gifts in advance to ensure event success.
