Since 1954, Lifehouse Agency has improved the quality of life for more than 300 people with developmental disabilities—providing a lifetime of compassionate support in an atmosphere of respect, inspiration, and purpose.As director of programs and operations overseeing six Bay Area programs in Marin and Sonoma, I’m proud to lead a team of people committed to the organization’s history of responsive action around the evolving needs of people with disabilities. Together, we work hard to create and uphold a system that provides caring, compassionate, and trustworthy care to all eligible people using a humanistic and inclusive approach.Across my tenure, Lifehouse has grown to be one of the Bay Area’s largest individual support providers, maturing from group homes to an agency serving needs ranging from community integration and day / residential services, to supported and independent living. As my breadth of leadership has expanded, I’ve been privileged to help develop and launch Lifehouse’s emphasis on autism, which today represents ~65% of our intake focus; integrated the organization’s delivery of services in the North Bay; secure program funding; and enhance collaboration and communications across the organization and with our stakeholders.Beyond my day-to-day accountabilities, I serve as a board member of The Autism Society of San Francisco.
