Responsibilities and achievements included:• Project lead for the National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NCSP), managing marketing channels (traditional and digital) and stakeholder engagement activities with GPs, pharmacy committee networks, educational bodies and young people in driving awareness and access for service users. • Stakeholder engagement lead across the health promotion portfolio, developing a calendar of deliverables, designing and evaluating tailored programmes and workshops for new hires, genitourinary medicinal units, social workers, charities, educational bodies, teachers and secondary school students. • Collaborated with and member of cross-functional steering committee boards including Sexual Health and HIV, Teenage Pregnancy and Emotional Wellbeing, influencing and shaping local government policies. • Established networks with national interest groups/bodies and presented at conferences including the Royal Society of Medicine, Institute of Psychosexual Medicine, London School of Paediatrics and British Association for Sexual Health. Invited to write an article for the British Medical Journal in support of work presented.

Managed portfolio of diverse client accounts across private and public sectors, designing and delivering strategic communication, events and marketing projects from client needs analysis to concept, delivery and evaluation of campaigns. Responsibilities and achievements included: • Secondment as Head of Press Office in (Food Safety Authority of Ireland) FSAI during client maternity leave at request of Chief Executive; managed in house FSAI internal and external communications whilst still maintaining an agency client portfolio. • Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) – Managed strategic communications and marketing channels for national information campaigns for HPRA such as the use of generic medicines, online sales of counterfeit medicines and cosmetic products in line with European and Irish regulations.• Issues / Crisis Management - Lead point of contact across the (Health Products Regulatory Authority) HPRA and the FSAI in dealing with media queries, clinical trials, product recalls and safety alerts across traditional and social media platforms. Regularly advising senior leadership, working to tight media deadlines in high pressure situations and converting scientific and highly technical information into more accessible language for media. • Event management – Planned and managed media launch of Calories on Menus consultation in conjunction with Department of Health, managed opposing external stakeholders from industry and media whilst maintaining FSAI’s reputation as leading stakeholder in policy recommendations. Received a national award of excellence for execution of the campaign. • Corporate Communications - Designed, delivered and managed Nestle Ireland’s corporate engagement portfolio including Sales Conferences, AGMs, Fairtrade initiatives, lobbying activities under new legislative proposals including sugar tax and advertising restrictions to children.

Day to day responsibilities included planning and activation of client PR activities including copy writing, mandatory reporting, research and evaluation, press trips, press releases, drafting Annual Reports for client, reactive statements, Q & A documents and third-party briefing documents and scripts.
