•Manages all of Anatomic Pathology laboratories’ operations and personnel-9 Staff Pathologists 17 FTE's to include histology staff, support technician and administrative personnel. -Manages all Operations of Clinical laboratory as Relief Supervisor on rotating weekend duty. •Manages all daily operations to include scheduling, inventory, equipment maintenance and work flow. •Oversees the processing, Embedding, Cutting, IHC/Special Staining, Grossing area, and Cover slipping, of 37k surgical cases within the Anatomic pathology lab•Implemented new processes and quality control procedures as well as authored technical training instructions•Maintained accountability of all patient and control slides/samples via monthly QA meetings and tracking QA data monthly•Coordinates all testing procedures, quality control, and regulations are within CAP/CLIA/OSHA standards•Wrote and kept current, over 140 technical procedures, to include all aspects of Histology, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Safety, and Preventative Maintenance.
