Front of the house (FOH) manger. Hire, train, schedule and oversee all FOH staff including seasonal staff for summer concert series and core restaurant staff. Assess reservations and determine FOH staff needed on daily basis to minimize labor costs and employee profitability without jeopardizing customer service. Maintain weekly FOH schedule to comply with restaurant needs and staff availability. Complete opening and closing duties including register reconciliation and deposits to the safe. Ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of dining experience. Handle customer complaints resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner. Ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, hygiene standards and alcoholic beverage regulations. Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment and supplies for repairs, maintenance, and need and schedules service or delivery of supplies needed. Communication with head chef regarding daily reservations, complaints, customer and staff suggestions and praises. Appraising staff performance. Interviewing new employees and all HR onboarding.
