About Michelle Spencer

As an upbeat and highly adaptable talent acquisition and human resources (HR) leader, I bring an exceptional track record of being the go to person to help companies go to the next level. My history thus far has comprised of driving autism service provider and mental health organizations from start up mode to growth mode through strategic recruitment, setting the operational foundation within HR and recruitment, and developing the high performing recruiting team to target high quality candidates. I make it my own personal mission to continue to seek out areas of improvement within HR and recruitment operations and increase recruiting and talent acquisition efforts through an authentic approach. In my current role with Octave, I’m leading our clinical recruitment team as we increase access to those in need of mental health services while at the same time providing an amazing place for clinicians to work in an environment where they’re supported, have sustainable caseloads, and can continue to make an impact without fear of burnout! I'm highly involved with the plan, strategy, and goal setting as we prepare to launch nationally.
