Leading a small team of engineers and technicians to upgrade the droplet generator functional test benches to a high pressure (10ksi) setup while prioritizing and planning out ongoing tests from several other projects and programs. The test bench upgrades will enable upcoming and future programs at ASML to promote higher power and wafer throughput products for our customers in Extreme Ultra-Violet (EUV) Lithography.

As a technical integration engineer, I traveled to ASML HQ in Veldhoven to integrate the first proto machine in the S3-MV (Modular Vessel) program by troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and software problems that occurred and feeding back this information to designers to enable a higher quality product.After the rollout of S3-MV, I continued utilizing my integration knowledge and analyzed machine data to support customers at Intel, TSMC and Samsung.

Responsible for the mechanical design of large building projects in the healthcare, properties and aviation markets. Experienced with drafting in Revit and AutoCAD, as well as building load and energy models in TRACE 700 and EnergyPro for Title 24 documentation. Comfortable with interdisciplinary coordination.Additional experience consulting in Energy and Sustainability and completing Level I ASHRAE Energy audits. Conducted existing building audit on 37 buildings around the LA County region to determine equipment efficiencies and suggest improvements to achieve energy conservation.

Responsible for setting up and maintaining lab equipment for an introductory engineering course, titled Design of Coffee. I also assist the first-year undergraduate students during the lab and ensuring they follow the proper lab procedures and correctly handle the equipment.

At this internship I was introduced to HVAC consulting and design and worked on many high-rise projects on the US west coast. I worked on analyzing as-built drawings of buildings, and determined the total airflow, cooling and heating capacities of the floors that were to be retrofitted with higher efficiency equipment. Using the information from these drawings, I developed load models using Virtual Environment IES, a software which utilizes building geometry, weather data profiles, room occupancies, and glazing conditions in order to determine the total heating and cooling loads for each room. Then, I used this information to design ductwork layouts and properly size the HVAC equipment.I was also able to work on many other exciting projects during my time at Arup, including a data mining task in which I created a useful resource for low SPC-rated hospital buildings. Additionally, I collaborated with different engineers to create a presentation for UC-Berkeley on Mechanical systems, including their own campus-wide mechanical plant.

During this internship I was individually tasked with a research and development project to determine the best thread-locking material on mechanical fasteners. Over the course of the semester, I designed a test fixture for mechanical fasteners, communicated with manufacturers, and developed a test plan. I used SolidWorks to both design and analyze my part, and then had it machined. Then, using a random vibration plot and a shake table, I conducted my tests and analyzed my results. I then formulated a report regarding the entire procedure of the experiment, concluding with a recommendation of which thread-locker the company should use.
