These include social causes rooted in English education in Colombian public schools; community nutrition tours and workshops for vulnerable populations of Massachusetts; developing urban agriculture at the point of health care access in London; leveraging solutions to poverty through agriculture and business in 27 countries.As an MSc student in Global Public Health Nutrition, my dissertation research focused on the role of community participation in sustainable school gardens for improved nutrition in rural Nicaragua. I remain driven by the conviction that inclusive market systems development, regenerative agriculture, and food sovereignty are not three isolated approaches, yet three overlapping components in the efforts for global food system transformation and sustainable development.
