I'm a Mechanical Engineer with a master degree specialization in Dynamics and Control Technology. In the field of Dynamics and Control I control the motion of complex, non-linear, mechanical systems by modeling and simulating the system. I like to validate and reiterate the control in an experimental setup. During project teams I’m best described as a reliable and committed team member. Also I’m known for problem solving, collegiality and maintaining overview during projects. The ability to overview the project also helps me to counteract against perfectionism while working independently. As a starting engineer, my short time goals are to apply the engineering principles learnt at university and during practical training thereby improving my understanding of the systems and philosophies behind major engineering challenges. By enhancing the practical way of working during in industry I hope to become a mechatronics system designer in mid term. On a long term my plan is to move into a position of responsibility where I can lead or advise a team based on the combined knowledge between university and industry.
