I am a multi-disciplinary engineer with a focus on structural and fire engineering and some exposure to civil infrastructure engineering. My educational journey has lead to a Masters in structural fire engineering which I completed as part of the FireSUN research unit of Stellenbosch University.I have worked on local South African, as well as Australian projects, with consultant teams from various disciplines. This had required working directly with municipal officials, clients, architects and engineers from diverse backgrounds.My passion for nature has left me dreaming about merging my expertise with sustainability and a desire to work on green buildings or designs inspired by nature at some point in my career.I enjoy optimizing the design process but I enjoy projects with new and innovative aspects just as much, if not more! I have registered as an ECSA candidate engineer and would like to get my Pr. Eng soon.
