Olive Crest transforms the lives of at-risk children One Life at a Time. My role in those transformations was to cultivate relationships with donors to create unique, beneficial fundraising partnerships and brand awareness. Designed a cause-awareness program with Angels Baseball and Stremicks called Safe at Home that raised $45k yearly along with many promotional opportunities. Lead a team to coordinate yearly activities for the critical portfolio of 200 plus donors I managed including two golf tournaments, a fishing trip, multiple lunches and volunteer activities during the various holidays. Excelled in the follow-up operational functions of the tracking and updating of the donor database (Raiser’s Edge) to ensure proper reporting and donor correspondence (letters, emails and newsletters). Monitored policy issues relating to foster care services and updated local, state and federal elected officials on Olive Crest activities.

Managed the daily activities and staff in the district office for Representative John Campbell’s when he served in the CA State Assembly and State Senate representing over 846,000 constituents in Orange County.Advised Representative Campbell on local and state issues by preparing position papers, speeches and background materials. Conducted meetings with local elected officials, community organizations, business leaders, education advocates and other industry groups regarding budgetary, legislative issues impacting their specific organization.Delivered speeches and conducted meetings on behalf of Representative Campbell.Proactively sought opportunities for Campbell's message to be communicated to the public.Oversaw district staff, Campbell's schedule and budget for the district office.During my tenure with Campbell I took a leave of absence to work on the 2003 historic recall of California Governor Gray Davis by serving as deputy political director to successfully elect Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Managed community relations for the Orange County Public Toll Road Agencies’ Foothill-South Project. A 16 miles project valued as a $1.7 Billion dollar investment. Oversaw day-to-day activities and budget of the Foothill-South public outreach program as well as managed all the public relations consulting contracts. Established and maintained relationships with residents, elected officials and opinion leaders in the South County communities by representing TCA at various community meetings and events. Spoke at City Council Meetings, environmental regulation hearings and other public record meetings.Developed, planned and implemented TCA community events to educate the general public on Foothill-South.Worked closely with engineers, environmental regulation teams and finance groups on the strategic planning of the project. Assisted in tracking local, state and federal legislative issues.

Begin my career with Governor Pete Wilson as a field representative in Governor Wilson's Central Valley office representing the Governor in 12 Central Valley counties with the responsibility to communicate his policies and objectives.Worked closely with business leaders, farmers, education advocates, health care professionals,elected officials, community leaders and constituents on local issues.Responsible for tracking and reporting constituent responses to the State Capitol staffSupervised the Central California Office internship program.In 1996 and 1998 worked as part of the Governor's political team by assisting in fundraising, coalition building and event management, including the planning of the 1996 Republican National Convention in San Diego and implementation of the Governor's political plan in competitive legislative and ballot measures in the 1998 primary and general election.
