I am an experienced Copywriter, Content Strategist and Managing Editor who finds the sweet spot connecting what audiences want to hear with what brands want to say. I am committed to helping organisations choose the right words to achieve their goals in a way that is on-brand, jargon-free, clear and inspiring. As Founder & Director of Bluebird Content, I enjoy being able to dive into any industry and discover the fascinating stories behind people and their work. I offer services spanning content strategy, content writing, copywriting, interviewing, research, editing, proofreading, SEO, creative ideation, analytics, stakeholder management, project management, presenting, training, and much more. Prior to launching my own business, I managed content marketing projects at Deakin University, which included aligning award-winning content hub, ‘this.’, to marketing’s goals and launching editorial product content. Previously, I led a team of content specialists as Managing Editor of King Content Melbourne. I have created content and strategies for Deakin University, Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, PEXA, Vision Australia, TelstraSuper, Carlton & United Breweries, Viva Energy Australia, Dow Chemical, Bank of Melbourne, various real estate agents, restaurants, cafes, small retailers and more.I trained as a journalist when media businesses were struggling to transform in the face of digital disruption. I soon realised the flipside of this was a huge opportunity for brands to step up and become their own publishers using content marketing. This bolt of inspiration led me on the path to where I am today. Whether through sharing real people’s stories, synthesising advice from experts, or presenting information in creative ways, I believe every organisation has the potential to craft content that engages and inspires their target audience to take action – and I thrive on helping them to do just that.
