The American Psychological Association (APA) Division 29's Society for the Advancement of Psychotherapy - Early Career Psychologist (ECP) Chair position provides leadership and maintains a standing ECP Committee of the Society for the purpose of ensuring that the ECP committee’s expert area is represented and to assist the Board through projects and ongoing efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing Psychotherapy as outlined in the Bylaws. The charges of the specific standing committees are specified in the Bylaws, Article XI, Section G.

Implementing GROW co-learning groups which is designed to increase supervisors and teaching faculty’s knowledge and awareness of antiracism and DEI concepts and facilitate development of concrete skills to effectively incorporate these concepts into practice, with the aim of improving teaching and supervisory practices, and ultimately clinical care.

Taught the following course: CHST 3620: Child Abuse and Neglect. Individuals who successfully completed the course received NYS certification on Mandated Reporting, and Preventing School Violence.

Participated in the forensic interview process of children with sexual abuse or physical abuse allegations. Coordinated services with the multi-disciplinary team members, such as the Brooklyn Child Abuse Squad Detectives (BCAS), Child Protective Specialists (CPS), Homeland Security Investigators (HIS) and Federal Bureau of Investigation Special (FBI) Agent.
