My bachelor’s degree in economics has given me strong analytical skills, which I gained through coursework in microeconomics, economic statistics and econometrics. Minoring in Global International Studies and Hispanic Studies, which included a semester in Barcelona, has increased my understanding of applied economics and provided me with enhanced communication proficiency. At my current position as a Project Specialist, I have gained experience with database manipulation and management and shorty developed into a mentor for incoming analysts. In addition, I previously had the opportunity to work as an intern for the City of Providence where I was tasked with gathering and synthesizing information pertaining to tax stabilization agreements and other tax incentives for the city. This assignment was research heavy and also allowed me to better understand the inner-workings of local governments. This internship taught me how to work as a team player, communicate critical information to my superiors and to be analytical in weighing the benefits and costs of potential tax incentives. Throughout my work experiences, I have demonstrated that I am organized, detail oriented, and quite adept at multitasking.
