I am graduate from Humber College with an Advanced Diploma in Sport Management. I have been exposed to multiple learning and network opportunities that have taught me a great deal of what to expect when entering the Sports Industry. Not only do I look forward to the future but I am also diligently working to reach my potential in order to maximize my knowledge and skills. I am currently working as the Lead Visual Merchandiser at Sportchek. My role requires me to use a creative lens to mechanize products and improve the experience of our customers. Starting off as a sales associate, my creativity and leadership skills have led me to the Visual Merchandising Lead of our store. I have learned a lot in this new role especially the idea of marketing and showcasing products in an innovative way. Growing up, I have constantly been surrounded by sports through a variety of outlets such as leagues, recreation programs, live broadcasts, school teams, and radio commentary. Without realizing it I found myself drawn to the idea of working in the sports field. With such a wide variety of possible opportunities in this industry, I could not be more enthusiastic to get my foot in the door. All sports have their own unique traits that make them fascinating and interactive in their own way. One sport in particular that I am very passionate about in all aspects is basketball. It is a sport that has impacted my life in many ways so I aspire to be part of this beautiful game as it continually evolves.
