Michelle Landrum, Cebs, Gbds Email and Phone Number
My story begins on a vegetable farm in rural Alabama, where my grandparents taught me that if you want anything in life— you have to work for it.I carried that lesson into my early career in Georgia, striving to learn everything I could about the employee benefits industry so that my clients received the best service and guidance. In 2017, I moved to Los Angeles, ready to take on new challenges and opportunities. With 16+ years of experience as an employee benefits broker, I’ve worked with employers across industries, specializing in mid-market companies with 100 to 5,000 employees. Over the years, I’ve saved my clients tens of millions of dollars through strategic negotiations, risk management, and innovative solutions. And my team? They’re incredibly talented and dedicated. As employee-owners under IMA’s ESOP model, we bring a sense of ownership and care to everything we do, making our work fulfilling and rewarding.Fun facts about me:+ I spent two summers teaching people how to pan for gold. The most interesting group I met was also hunting for Bigfoot (true story).+ I love high-adrenaline activities, and my life dream is to go into space—ideally to the new space station or a lunar environment. This goal inspired me to start Aerospace HR.+ In high school, I won an award for top physics grade (as a junior, beating out the seniors), though I don’t remember anything about physics now.+ In 2018, I tried to start a nonprofit to provide education and access to “continuation of life” resources for low- and middle-income families, and I remain passionate about this topic. My goal is to simplify benefits programs, making them accessible, affordable, and impactful for employers and employees. If you’re an HR, finance, or benefits leader seeking an experienced and committed partner to elevate your benefits program, I’d love to connect!
