✓ Navigated State of Tennessee audit in first 3 weeks of operation, resulting in only 1 finding and zero corrective actions.

Entering the corporate side of CoreCivic, I was promoted to own program development and training for 25+ facilities. I serve as a subject matter expert for treatment program development and implementation while forecasting budgets, introducing new processes and procedures, and streamlining cross-functional coordination to ensure overall program effectiveness.Achievements:▬▬▬▬▬▬▬✓ Expanded victim impact program from 4 to 21 facilities in tight 2-year span, building innovative victim impact video to provide support/help to facilities with minimal resources while fostering a more holistic treatment approach.✓ Led as learning and development trainer for the Master Key Leadership Program, spurring significant reduction in staff turnover with an evaluated internal culture. ✓ Published in the American Correctional Publication Corrections Today for a piece on staff wellness. ✓ Served as member of CoreCivic Critical Incident Stress Management Team. ✓ Completed certificate program in Trauma Informed Care Training (40 hours) by TIC Colorado.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

Directed operational oversight, program development, and budget of the Top 8 performing departments at Marion County Jail II. Responsible for staff of 200. This 1200 bed, medium-security urban facility was supported by hourly personnel, contract labor, and volunteers. ☑Met and often surpassed goals for quality assurance, human resources, staff development & training, and contract services.☑ Served as a Public Information Officer; managed media, public appearances, and community relations.☑ In tandem, served as PREA coordinator and on boards in the community, e.g. Indiana Criminal Justice Board (non-profit), Marion County Community Corrections, and Harrison College of Criminal Justice.

Led the start up of Liberty Hall, Indiana's first Technical Rule Violation Center for offenders. This 200-bed facility supports cognitive behavioral substance abuse treatment, rehabilitation, and re-entry.☑ Designed - led operations, training, and programs relating to residential therapeutic community services, work release, assessments, cognitive behavioral models, and gender-specific clinical case management plans.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

Held direct clinical oversight responsibility for the Federal Bureau of Prisons Drug Treatment Contract.☑ Managed male and female offenders in a Re-Entry Work Release setting; this included networking with local agencies and businesses to provide optimal client services, conducting home visits, managing drug screens, developing treatment plants,and facilitating various groups and individual sessions.☑ Train the Trainer Facilitator in Adult Reasoning and Rehabilitation Cognitive Skills Program for both adults and juveniles.
