A member of the President/CEO’s senior leadership team, providing strategic leadership for all financial aspects of the organization, including accounting systems, financial analysis, internal controls system, annual external audit, budget process, procedures, IT systems, and contractual arrangements.Under the direction of the President and CEO, and in collaboration with the senior leadership team, directs the development and analysis of financial and information services, processes and systems for the YMCA.

Assess compliance with information technology controls by executing audit program steps; testing infrastructure technologies, development projects, security, and information technology related work processes; examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.

Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT related functions, support and maintain existing applications and identify new technical solutions to meet organizational needs. Ensure all internal controls are documented and followed by conducting regular audits. Primary Responsibilities• Review and analyze software and hardware needs, recommending changes and upgrades to provide efficient and timely service to users • Provide technical expertise in the analysis, design, enhancement, support and implementation of systems relating to the produce industry • Analyze processes to identify problem areas and make recommendations for system modifications or other improvements• Troubleshoot system and data issues as they arise • Define future requirements and coordinate planning for installing system improvements• Initiate and implement improvements in all areas of IT responsibility• Effectively communicate relevant IT-related information to management• Manage the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies • Responsible for all help desk activities responding to escalated matters as necessary• Interact with all levels of employees to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner• Manage application support of all Microsoft Office applications, and hydroponic software specifically related to BYF operations• Manage the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure in conjunction with support from various vendors.• Responsible for the identification and management of IT resources and vendors • Escalate security and risk issues that are identified to the Devonshire Investor’s (DI) ISO in a timely manner• Liaise with DI and other representatives of assigned business functions to ensure that project pipelines are understood and that project priorities are reflected in resource planning

Supervise the day to day duties of both the Payroll and IT Departments. Hands on with creation and implementation of a performances based costing system that links operations and payroll. Create and distribute weekly labor reports that give floor managers the ability to monitor the performance of their work force.

Managed Accounts Payable at both the corporate level and in 21 remote districts. Part of the team that researched and implemented a new General Ledger package. Wrote and generated monthly financial statements and quarterly board package.

Over saw the daily running of this member supported nonprofit organization. Increased member ship by 35%. Reported to a 15 member Board of Directors. Organized and managed quarterly fund raisers included a Hot Air Balloon Festival with revenue on over $25,000. Responsible for helping small business owners gain a better understanding of factors effecting their businesses and how to better advertise to attract tourist to the Somerset County Area of Maine.

Bridged the gap between operations and finance. Organized and oversaw monthly physical inventories. Implemented a costing system to explain variances to budget as well as to plan. Worked with finance to put together the yearly operations and capital budget.

Over saw the daily running of 3 remote payroll location responsible for the weekly paying of 1000 +/- employees. Timely payment of liens and garnishment as well as compliance with all State and Federal rules and regulations. Supervision of 9 employees with over all control of reviews, raises, hiring and termination.
