Chair/Professor Human Sexuality Department, California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco, CA. I am currently founding Physica, which aims to provide physicians, pharmacists, clinicians, traditional healers, and others with a one-stop digital resource to understand how plant medicine interacts with pharmaceutical medicine. In my academic role, I am Chair of the Human Sexuality Department at CIIS, offering a doctoral degree and our newest offering: a fully online Master of Science in Critical Sexuality Studies with three emphases on: 1. Sextech, 2. Public Health Analysis, and 3. Sex Counseling. Our inaugural MS cohort starts in Fall 2025. As Department Chair, I orchestrate program vision development, curriculum planning, faculty evaluations, and student recruitment. I prioritize diversity, equity and inclusion across our program offerings, while ensuring our department remains focused on critical sexuality studies and delivers the highest standards in education and research.CIIS benefits from my expertise in global research, advocacy, and business collaborations and applied/ translational research, which directly contributes to our mission of advancing social justice through academia. Through collaboration with diverse stakeholders, my role enhances the societal impact of CIIS, ensuring that our educational programs resonate with contemporary challenges and opportunities in the field of human sexuality.
