My time spent at West Marine was focused on customer service. Daily tasks involved greeting customers and assisting them with any challenging marine related situations and conducting sales transactions and returns thorough point of sales computer software. While conducting sales transactions I increased customer satisfaction through West Marine Memberships and product warranty sales.

Loggerhead Marinelife Center is dedicated to rehabilitating injured sea turtles while educating the public. As a volunteer, then later an intern, my responsibilities included operating a point of sales system, counting monetary donations, assisting in sea turtle care, and preparing reports on various cost saving opportunities. During my time here, I realized I most enjoyed educating and interacting with the patrons.
