I look for and implement solutions to the elections sector of government. I enjoy being part of a team that responds quickly to changes in legislation and changes required to maintain public confidence, public trust in election administration and polling place management. I am very customer-focused, which comes naturally since I spent 14 years in public administration with an emphasis in elections and technology. My customers know that my primary commitment is to our relationship and their ability to conduct fair, free, and accurate elections. Most of my professional life has been spent between the government sector and entrepreneurial work. Since 1999 I have worked as a project manager and developer on a variety of Web projects-- information architecture, social networking, content development and appropriate technologies. I have nearly two decades of solid experience in Web applications development. I have 20 years of experience in elections-- as senior management at the State Board of Elections in Raleigh, North Carolina; as an IT director for Madison County Government supporting the Board of Elections with equipment and software; and as IT director for the Board of Elections in New Hanover County supporting equipment and software. The last five years were spent specializing in election accessibility products with IS Elections, during that time I also spent over two years marketing electronic poll books for EA, providing solutions to election entities in hardware, software, consulting and training.
